License and Refund Terms

A personal lifetime license, with clear limits.

Harbour Journal is sold as a one-time purchase with no subscription. Your purchase gives you a personal lifetime license to use the app, subject to the terms below.

What your purchase includes

Your purchase includes a personal, non-transferable, lifetime license to install and use Harbour Journal for your own writing on compatible Apple Silicon Macs. There is no subscription and no scheduled expiration date for the license.

License, not software ownership

You are buying a license to use Harbour Journal, not ownership of the software itself, its source code, trademarks, design assets, update infrastructure, license systems, or related services. Foss Creative Ltd. retains ownership of Harbour Journal and related intellectual property.

Activation and license checks

Harbour may require activation and may periodically check whether a license is valid. License checks help provide license recovery, prevent fraud and abuse, manage refunds and chargebacks, and keep direct-distribution updates working. If a license is no longer valid, app access may be limited or disabled.

Personal device use

A personal license is intended for one person and may be used on up to three compatible Macs owned or primarily used by that person, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Sharing, reselling, publishing, or automating license use for other people is not permitted.

Refunds

You may request a refund within 14 days of the date and time of purchase by contacting [email protected] with the checkout email address. If a refund or chargeback is issued, the related license may be revoked or disabled, and access to paid app features may stop.

Fraud, abuse, and repeated refunds

Foss Creative may revoke, disable, or refuse a license when there is evidence of fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, license sharing beyond permitted use, attempts to bypass licensing, or serious violation of these terms. If a customer buys Harbour, receives a refund, buys again, and receives a second refund, future purchase attempts may be blocked.

Updates and compatibility

A lifetime license means the license itself has no scheduled expiration. It does not guarantee that Harbour will support every future Mac, macOS version, AI model, third-party service, or feature indefinitely. Harbour Journal currently requires an Apple Silicon Mac and macOS 14 or later.

Questions

If you are unsure whether your Mac, license use, refund request, or support situation fits these terms, contact [email protected] before buying.
